The site needed to work responsively and represent the organization the way they expected. It also needed for visitors to be able to do full text search of their 70+ years of past articles from their magazine and to be able to view them.
The two partial sites needed to be integrated and made easier for the client to manage. The appearance needed to be updated. The lead management system needed to be better integrated.
The site needed a complete overhaul. It was difficult for the client to make changes and it was missing many features of modern web sites.
The NJSBA merged with another organization (NJICLE), combined two separate CRM databases and launched two entirely new websites with a single sign-on (SSO) for users of both systems. The database systems (iMIS and Personify) both resided on Microsoft SQL Server, and the web environment used Dot Net Nuke (DNN) as a foundational framework.
This site was to be converted from a proprietary CMS to Wordpress to make it easier to customize and modernize the site.
